PMG Hires dual threat to lead Philly office

Wick Vipond knows the Philadelphia advertising scene better than Tony Luke knows cheesesteaks, which is why we’re excited to have him as Pavone Marketing Group’s senior account strategist and general manager of our Philadelphia office.

In this dual role, Vipond will provide oversight and guidance on all accounts while leading PMG’s fastest growing office by shaping the office’s culture and managing day-to-day operations.

Vipond will pursue new business opportunities with prospects and existing clients and develop relationships with key clients to usher in bigger creative opportunities and drive revenue for the agency. He will also nurture, attract, and retain talent and work to position PMG among the top creative and strategic companies to work for in Philadelphia.

Wick brings an impressive level of success and an infectious optimism and that’s exactly why we’ve hired him to run our Philadelphia office,” said PMG President and CEO Michael Pavone. “He’s a champion of creative ideas and his strategic account leadership has paved the way for bold, business-driving and award-winning work. In a growing agency like ours, that leadership and passion for creating breakthrough work is exactly what we need.”

Vipond’s award-winning leadership has resulted in two Clios, a national AAF Gold, and a NASCAR Marketer of the Year honor for his work on Sunoco. He’s held strategy and leadership roles at several agencies, including Red Tettemer + Partners, Hero Digital, and A&G. His brand experience includes Ugg Australia, Aramark, Universal Records, J&J, the University of Notre Dame and countless others.
